For cats, the act of pooping can lead to a sense of vulnerability, as they can’t react as readily during the act, as they would normally be able to.

Or, maybe it’s just that your lovely cats enjoys a little privacy!

Either way it’s good to ensure that the litter tray is in an easily accessible place and that it’s not in too noisy a position (cats hear far better than we do). If there are bright lights surrounding it she may prefer to use it when it’s darker (cats also see far better than we do).
