ASK DR.CLAIRE

My Great Dane puppy has different coloured eyes, just wondering what this is?

Being born with one eye that is a different colour to the other is termed congential heterchromia.

Great Danes are a breed who may happen to show this trait from birth. With congenital heterochromia, their sight is completely normal and it’s not considered a medical problem. Just a normal variation in eye colour.
