My black labrador has a dry nose and red/pink eyes. Is there a problem?
A change in the texture of your dog’s nose to dry is not a reliable indicator of dehydration or fever. Things like air conditioning or fans can also cause it.
A change in your dog’s eyes to a pink/red colour certainly isn’t normal. Pink/red tissue indicates inflammation, which could be caused by many things ranging from a mild allergy to a severe sickness.
